Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Washington's My Health My Data Act protects health-related information that falls outside traditional medical records. Because a visit to a pelvic health website can itself suggest something about your health, we treat what you share with us through the site with care.

Your clinical records (evaluations, treatment notes, and anything created as part of your care) are kept confidential under Washington's health care information laws and are described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive at your first visit.

Consumer health data we may collect through the site:

  • Health information you include in a contact form, booking request, or message (for example, symptoms, pregnancy or postpartum status, or the reason for your visit)

  • The fact that you visited pages about specific conditions or services

Where it comes from: directly from you, and from the analytics tools listed above.

Why we collect it: only to respond to you, schedule and provide the care you request, and understand how the site is used. We collect it with your consent or because it is necessary to provide the service you asked for.

Who we share it with: only the service providers listed in "Services we rely on" (Squarespace, Jane, and Google Analytics), who process it on our behalf. We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not use geofencing.

Your rights. If you live in Washington, or your data was collected here, you have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we hold your consumer health data, and see it

  • Get a list of every third party we have shared it with

  • Withdraw your consent

  • Have it deleted

To make a request, email support@thresholdspelvichealth.com or call 253-254-6311. We will respond within 45 days. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond to an appeal within 45 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Washington State Attorney General.

Your privacy choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you emails. Visitors from California, Colorado, Virginia, the European Union, and other places with privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws, and we will honor them. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

We may need to keep certain information, such as clinical records, for as long as the law requires.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Care for minors is arranged directly with a parent or guardian.

How we protect and keep your information

We use reasonable safeguards, including secure, password-protected systems and limiting access to the people who need it. No website is perfectly secure, so please avoid sending sensitive health details through the general contact form; we are happy to talk by phone or secure message instead.

We keep website information only as long as it is useful for the purposes above, and clinical records for the period Washington law requires.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised.
