In this video, I'll guide you through how to check your own pelvic floor for a proper contraction (kegel), how to check your strength, endurance, and coordination, and how to assess for pain.

What I teach in this video is basically what we as pelvic floor physical therapists do in the clinic, so you have a good idea of what to expect if you have an upcoming appointment with a PT.

Remember to go at your own pace, approach it with curiosity, and don't worry about if you're doing it right. You're getting to know your own body, so it's more of an exploration and self-connection than a test.
